About Our Founder and Head Coach
Thom Quinn is a world-class coach and leader in the areas of wellness and peak performance. Since 2005, he has been actively coaching individuals to achieve their highest goals. He founded Possibility Coaching, LLC in 2006 and during his first few years as a professional coach, he assisted highly successful entrepreneurs and other top professionals find solutions to a wide variety of business and personal issues. During this time, Thom recognized that over half his clients approached him to help with weight loss, fix destructive health habits, or overcome other fitness problems. From 2007 to 2012, Thom conducted a systematic review of the scientific literature on biochemistry, physiology, nutrition science, psychology, and sociology to determine what methods, practices, and strategies really do lead to long-term weight loss and improved wellness. This involved reading over 500 peer-reviewed papers within many different journals. While conducting this deep dive, Thom discovered the problem was much larger than he imagined. The Centers of Disease Control reports that approximately 2/3 of Americans are overweight and 1/3 of the adult population is currently obese. Clearly, there is a major disconnect between how people should eat to produce healthy outcomes and the way most Americans do eat. This information led to a major shift within his own coaching practice so he could help a wider group of people with their fitness problems.
In 2013, Thom Quinn founded a new coaching company, Nutrition Coach, LLC and to assist individuals who desired to learn more about losing weight and getting fit while enjoying a whole-food lifestyle which integrates the best practices with the latest scientific insights.
Thom Quinn is the creator of two successful weight loss program: The Chocolate Diet and the Raw Diet.
Thom Quinn is an active member of the International Coaching Federation and has been certified by the Coaching Training Alliance. Currently, Thom is dedicated to coaching individuals who want to learn how to eat the right way so they can lose weight, improve their overall health, increase their fitness and energy level, and maximize their vitality and longevity while reducing their risks of developing diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and many cancers.
